On Monday, June 19, 2006 Mulligan's Island held the 2nd Annual Phred's Drug Mini Golf Charity Classic to benefit Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. The event was in memory of tournament founder Mike Rossi who suddenly passed away last year. Over 200 golfers came out to enjoy a night of food, fun, and of course mini golf!

The Master of Ceremony for the evening, Kevin Sullivan from MIXED NUTS: an interactive cabaret, kept everyone on their toes and made sure there was NO CHEATING. This years winning team got to walk away with "The Mikey Trophy", and a ton of bragging rights.

The night started with a spectacular site, as the WPRI 12 Chopper landed on the Mulligan's Island Driving Range. Between shotguns everyone got to enjoy a delicious "backyard BBQ", listen to music, and take part in a live broadcast from our friends at B101. It was a picture perfect evening here at the island.

We would like to thank our sponsors: Phred's Drug, Superior Bakery, Ruggeri's Market, B101, WPRI 12, Cardi's Furniture, and especially of you those who came out to support a great cause. Together we raised over $5,000.00 for Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
